My little snafu with scamps for example, on resumes I don't mention that, no matter what ethical reason I had to quitting a three week job just doesn't look good on a job application. My suggestion aside from what you're already doing would be to go and ask a receptionist/admin type person what skills they use on the job. Getting the inside scoop is always a good idea. I love to walk too. Wish as I may, I am not a career counselor. I would suggest though, that you start by creating a resume. Since you seem unhappy with dancing for a time, I would suggest leaving that off. As for a Girl Friday position, I'm sure there are still similar positions. You might try looking for something that says either assistant or clerical in the title. I wouldn't suggest looking for more janitorial work as you don't get much opportunity to sit/rest.
